Mount Vernon is known as "The Little Europe of Baltimore"! The bride grew up here and there are so many fun things to do from a free visit to The Walter's Art Gallery, a stroll through the Square's Parks, to a walk down historic Charles Street to the Inner Harbor. It's an amazingly magical place. Check out the Bride's favorite vintage store, "The Zone"! There's also the infamous Belvedere Hotel which was recently featured on the latest season of "Unsolved Mysteries" which has a haunted 13th floor and gorgeous restaurant, "The Owl Bar" which is a local landmark since 1903. Pop in here for a night-cap. There's also the couple's local watering hole, "Mick O'sheas"- a great place for Brunch on the weekends! Hotel Revival also has a Speakeasy and Karaoke rooms, not to mention a rooftop restaurant overlooking Mount Vernon Square.
Explore the neighborhood where Chris and Alex first met! Hampden is where Chris the bachelor lived (uh-oh) and is filled with Breweries, artistic local shops and a stroll down "The Avenue". Check out the Mexican arcade at Holy Frijoles, where the couple had their first date! The Food Market is probably the best food on the Avenue so make a reservation if you plan on dining here. Art House is a cute pizza bistro and has a 2nd floor billiard's room. There's also Hampden Yards if you fancy a beer garden with foosball and games. Not to mention the Blue Bird Cocktail Room, the Speakeasy of Hampden! One of the couple's traditions is getting cold cuts at Ribaldis and heading to a gorgeous local park, Lake Roland (10 min drive). Enjoy!
The couple had their second date here on the Halloween Pirate Booze Cruise of Baltimore! It is the jewel of the city's waterfront and loaded with cool stores, bars, restaurants and waterfront scenes. Wedding Weekend is actually the largest live music arts festival in Fells Point- The Fells Point Fun Festival- it's not to miss! Check out Cat's Eye Pub, the best spot for Live Music in Baltimore! Fun fact- they have a ghost tour and prirates are rumored to be buried under the cobblestone streets! Fells Point is one of the oldest harbors in the country and offers fantastic dining- get the "Totcho's" at Alexander's Tavern, the Lobster Roll at Thame's Street Oyster House, and the Tacos at Barcocina. And of course, you can't go wrong with a crabcake! Waterfront dining al fresco anyone?
